good god 500fps?
That is amazing.
That is amazing.
Indeed it is.
That's so awesome.
Very Nice

Before anyone says they didn't have HD cameras back then; they did.

I also thought this.
Anyways guys, I'm off to school. :frog:
16mm (what this and other apollo footage was shot with) is borderline though, usually 16mm footage only has a little more than 720p worth of detail.

Second video is awesome too
He sounds like Gabe.
My exact thoughts when I heard his voice.
That was fucking awesome.
HOly crap, that was spectacular.
Next time there's a rocket launch, i'll go there and capture it in 1200FPS. :buddy:
I saw it from Cuba, It looked like a flare going up 50,000 feet and dissappearing (exaggerated obviously, since I don't know how high it went before dissappearing from sight. )
Amazing.
Holy shit awesome.
It's insane because the flames are all moving so fast regardless of them being shown at 500fps, especially the gas coming out of the back of the ship during liftoff.
Gives you a true sense of the shear power and science behind this task, truly astonishing.
That was really cool. I had to watch it twice.
