I have a Samsung T240 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001280) and a HP LA2405x (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=24-176-346&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Keywords=%28keywords%29&Page=1#scrollFullInfo).
I like the Samsung in the center. So should I get another HP to make it symmetrical or get a Asus VS24AH-P (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236331)?
I'm leaning towards the Asus and if I do choose that one, I'll use it as my center monitor.
TL;DR:
HP LA2405x T240 vs. Asus VS24AH-P for third monitor in non-uniform triple screen set up.
How do I hyperlink?
I'd go for the ASUS ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236331&Tpk=24-236-331 ) over the HP.
But honestly - save up for 3 identical monitors, it'll be a much better experience.
(Go for Dell or Samsung)

Another 3 monitors.. what'll I do with my old 3.. build 3 different computers and put them around the house..
Later, probably.
Better to have the same 3 monitors
it's so annoying to calibrate the colors of monitors to match
I've spent hours getting it perfect and then a week later "FUCK ITS OOOOFFFFF"

I don't think I really care about the color calibration.. just the screen space.
It's a make shift triple monitor setup. The first monitor is from the computer I built 5 years ago. The 2nd is from the one I built last winter.
Just want to make it even and maybe play some games on it.
Just want to make it even and maybe play some games on it.
Yeah. 3 different resolution/size monitors will be awful - they won't be even and the resolution will be off for playing games across 3 monitors.
Sell the current ones and buy 3 of these.

Uh except they'd all be 24" 1920x1200?
Uh except they'd all be 24" 1920x1200?
to be fair having a monitor that's higher than the other is slightly weird, especially if the colors off
but why go through all the trouble when you already have 2 perfectly good monitors?
Uh.. to clarify, all the monitors will be 1920 x 1200.
As for the height, I can put things under them until they match up. They are adjustable as well.

Exactly.

1080 sucks, bro.

Yup exactly. Plus it's cheaper to buy a calibrator than to buy 3 monitors.
Would it be possible for OP to forget the different stand issues and get a multimonitor one?
Something like:

I feel like it would help the aesthetics of just buying one screen.
Aren't those things super expensive? Like $300.
A little side question: What do people think about 3 x 27" ?
A little side question: What do people think about 3 x 27" ?
Expensive, but worth it if you have the cash to burn on 3x2560x1440. 3x1920x1080 is silly at 27".
Well 1920x1080 is silly at 27" in any case.
May I ask why? I'm using one and I don't see anything wrong with it.
From what I understand anything bigger than 24" on a 1920x1080 resolution has a low pixel density per square inch. So it's a stretched resolution over a larger size screen basically.
I have a 1920x1080 27" screen at home but it is blown out of the water by the 2560x1440 units I have at work.
Yup exactly. The farther distance you sit doesn't make up for the lower density, it simply looks worse than a 21.5" or 23" panel at 1920x1080.

Don't they also sag after a bit?
Don't they also sag after a bit?
No, they don't. Why would monitors sag?
If you mean not level. I can adjust them accordingly and they match up perfectly.
27" would be ok if you're sitting far away. But then it'd just look like you have a really really short and wide T.V.
Up close it would look really pixelated.

I meant when he posted that
the weight of the monitor after a while can sag them I hear :v: since they're suspended in air by the stand

What's the model name of this one?

More length means more torque: it can still be accommodated for. Provided they're constructed correctly and used properly I would imagine they hold up as intended. Just research before you buy.
And yeah, it seems that most triple stands range from $80 to $300. As for the one I listed, apparently its a laser ao-arm3b.
Is there any cheaper monitor?
~5 ms, 1920 x 1200, 24 inch?

Plugging that in only gives about 10 monitors on pcpartpicker, the cheapest being what you suggested.

Yeah.. 1200's aren't cheap or popular..
