• Ventures of a charitable nature - Help my brother raise money for charity!
    0 replies, posted
Evening all, My brother will be running a manly 10k marathon tomorrow in aid of age UK, a charity based in the UK who aim to help make life for our grandparents and older relatives as happy, fulfilling and productive as when they were in their young years. I am fairly convinced a wall of text will be a fairly unconvincing argument, so I have prepared some photos of awesome elderly people who may or may not have had their lives improved ten fold by the charity AgeUK. I know that some of you may feel pressured, the images of the happy elderly bunch above make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but your charitable strings might not be twinging to this cause. To avoid any sort of anti competitive tactics, I have composed a unbiased test, from which if you choose to complete, will determine the charitable venture that tugs at your heartstrings the most, shown below click the image which makes you feel most charitable): If after passing the above, you have clicked the face of the impeccable Ian McKellen, you have chosen to warm your heart to the charitable cause of AgeUK. To donate directly to the Ague UK charity, you can go to their site and donate: http://www.ageuk.org.uk/get-involved/make-a-donation/ If however you would still like to support our chappy chap here, running for AgeUK, you can click the below image, which given the incredibly macho and manly display that is on show, I know will happen with great haste. You do not have to donate to support the charities above, simply raising awareness of charitable issues, causes that require the attention and aid of people, is a successful use of mine and your time. Thankyou for reading. Many Kind Regards ThePunisher1
