Alright, I can kind of see the thought process of going back to old cartoon franchises to see if you can get a bit more out of them. What I don't get, though, is why [i]every time[/i] they do so they believe live action is the way to go. I mean, the ability for animated features to do anything which could be jotted down was a good part of the charm for most of 'em. And it's hard to say that it'd even be cheaper to produce this way, because most of the time cartoon-to-live-action projects need to drown themselves in CGI to emulate the original cartoon characters/effects anyway.
