Missing the point. It's not the disaster that's funny. It's people who get offended are funny.
A guy does 0 effort and clicks "funny" rating. He doesn't really think it's funny, deep down it's terrible for him too, but he pushes it away, hiding behind his "coolface".
Now someone like you, sees the funny rating which didn't need a bit of effort, and you get offended. Typing few lines of serious text, putting effort into them.
That's what makes people think it's funny. If guys like you wouldn't get offended by other people's comments, no one would say crap like "lol ppl died iz funnie".

I'm not important nor is anyone else. Now some people may be "Important" to our society but in reality we are all little significant humans and in the end it is not going to matter whether we some how change society forever or are some bum on the street because in the end we die and eventually everything will end be it people, society, our existence as we know it and you will be forgotten.
