You made someone scream on our Steam Voice chat.
Buy a modular power supply and a case with cable management.

dammit deeps
zip ties
Rate me late people!
My solution: stand the pc up, let the wires hang out of the side instead of packed inside your case, and turn a fan on next to it. You will get way better cooling but more frequent dust buildup.

Have you guys not heard of cable management? and the afformentioned Zip ties?
Third best thread of H&S
Scissors
My case has a mobo tray with a space under it for cables, too bad my cables are too short.
Zip ties, duct tape, and time.
cut whatever you don't need off :v:
I makes me feel bad, because I have never really cared about cable management.
Then again, I have no way too. Cheap case, non-modular PSU, an IDE ribbon, and microATX.

You have plenty of ways to. My case was literally $30 and is mATX with a non-modular PSU, IDE Cables aren't that hard to hide.

You can at least see the RAM slots now.
....and I forgot to plug the disc drive in. Damn SATA power cable came out.

But thank you SATA for allowing hot-swapping.

Tips: use the area above the DVD/CD drive for cables you don't need, you may be able to route the CPU power behind the PSU, and use the extra area behind the 3.5 inch drives for excess, too.
I just kind of stuff everything into the bottom bay on my Antec 900 as well as the extra space between the other side panel and mobo tray.
My Psu has way to many lines for any computer I can think of.

i stuff my unneeded cables into my empty dvd drive bays, works great for top mounted PSU's

Jesus Christ that's a giant picture.
And to be relevent to the thread, along with using the 3.5 drive bays as storage, unlplug everything and start from scratch with plugging stuff in. If you think it through and prioritize what cables need to be on top of other cables, you can get the bulk of the cables coming straight out from the PSU and put them into the 3.5 bays.

Mine's mounted in the middle of my case, and there's a top section and lower section seperated by a shelf thing the PSU sits on, so all the cables have to go through a really small hole in the shelf.
Luckily the case is giant, so it's not that important.
