I'm trying to find out how to record my computers output on Windows 7, if you know how i'd deeply appreciate it if you'd post how to. Thank you,
Set your recording device to stereo mix. if you don't have that option make sure you have sound drivers installed.

A lot of older cards (and really new cards) have this, but most somewhat new cards have this taken out because of copyright reasons.

And Windows Sound Control Panel tends to hide disabled and disconnected devices by default. So if it's not there, first right click a blank space and check both "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices". If it's still not there, THEN make sure you have sound drivers. If it's STILL not there, then you'll have to buy yourself a cable.
Plug speaker jack into microphone jack. Windows key + r, type "SoundRecorder.exe" without quotes (or "sndrec32" on older windows)

OP, use this with caution.
