As well as marking DoA’s debut on PS4 and Xbox One, Last Round is also the very first entry in the series to make it to PC, via Steam. Asked why the series has waited almost two decades to make the move, Shimbori highlights the growing acceptance of PC as a mainstream platform. “The adoption rate of high-spec PCs and related peripheral devices has traditionally been lower than consoles,” he comments. “But these days, the perspective of PC gaming has changed drastically and we expect more fighting games will be released for PC users.”

Despite this, he warns that one of the PC’s most active scenes – the modding community – should be careful not to turn off publishers looking to make their debut. “We have to deal with mod issues from an IP holder perspective,” he explains. “We would like to ask PC users to play our game in good moral and manner. Otherwise, we won’t be able to release a title for PC again.”
http://www.mcvuk.com/special-feature...ast-round/0165 Aka this is going to be the last time we see Doa on pc. :v:
Nude and weird fetish mods everywhere, Nexus approved of course.
I don't understand why a mod, presumably a nude one, would not allow them to release another DoA have on PC. If that was the case for other games, Bethesda wouldn't have made Skyrim, that is for damn sure. :v:

Hahaha this only going to make it worse. I'ma get this just for da nude mods.
As if they werent already motivated enough as it is.
We would like to ask PC users to play our game in good moral and manner.
You don't know what kind of monster you have just awoken
It's okay as long as we add mosaic censoring to the nude mods.
I would get it just for the nude mods
Seems to in part refer to cheating as well. But the most important thing about a PC release, is to not fear modding. You should encourage it, because it ensures a longer life of your game.
They'll change their minds when the nude mod releases and sales instantly increase tenfold.
just ignore the horse dicks like bethesda does
Ah yes, reminds me off the time that guy from bioshock asked the Internet to stop making Elizabeth porn. Which as we all remember was honoured and all trace of that was taken off the www :v: Its practically a porn game already
Like all their DLCs for DoA5 were cosmetic DLCs, all of them together mounted up over 200+ dollars just to get them all. Maybe they're worried that people could just mod in their own costumes?
Maybe they're worried that people could just mod in their own costumes?
I think the community will be more concerned with modding clothing out, rather than modding more in.
team ninja is asking for people to play in a 'moral manner"? :v: i think they're afraid of competition tbh and people making their bikini DLCs pointless.
I think the community will be more concerned with modding clothing out, rather than modding more in.
SF4's community did both, and everyone lived.
I don't know about you, but when I think of the one game that is morally incorruptible, it's Dead or Alive 5.
Telling the internet not to do something always works out great :v: Western devs had to eventually get over mods and youtube videos. TN & others will eventually follow one day...
SF4's community did both, and everyone lived.
Maybe I should play SF4 then...
You don't know what kind of monster you have just awoken
1st mod: All players are just floating breasts, asses, vaginas, and penises. No bodies whatsoever....

This doesn't help much after the reveal of their new bustiest character.
So since when was the PC not mainstream? growing up I thought that gaming was on one of two things: Nintendo or PC. Some of my friends had playstations but it was one or the other and everyone I knew had both. Then the Xbox came out and I was the only one who had one. All my other friends had gamecubes by that point. Then The 360 came out and it was like everyone had one. The PC being not mainstream is only a development from 2005 onward, when MLG and doritos and mountain dew and Halo 3 and COD started happening. PC has always been a part of mainstream gaming, publishers were just waiting for LoL to come along to make it marketable
Here's hoping that they mean no cheat engines, because if they mean nude mods everything might as well be packed up right here.
Ah yes, reminds me off the time that guy from bioshock asked the Internet to stop making Elizabeth porn. Which as we all remember was honoured and all trace of that was taken off the www :v:
Fun fact: The only time a request like that has ever worked in any manner was with Bayonetta. And that's only because the creator basically went "Go ahead with the porn, but I'd prefer it if she was portrayed as a dom instead of a sub".
They mean nude mods.
I wonder if its opposite day in Japan, which is to say that he wants lewd mods for DOA characters. We hear you loud and clear, Hayashi-san!
Bethesda might actually enjoy all the sexy mods, you can't know for sure.
I wouldn't be surprised. It's quite fun doing a nudist playthrough. My last run through Skyrim had the Dragonborn wearing naught but some jewelry for 40-odd levels.
I thought they were talking about cheating or something
