As the title implies, Ricky Gervais of [I]The Office[/I] and [I]Extras[/I], is collaborating with Clyde Phillips, a writer for [I]Dexter[/I], to produce a new sitcom about an atheist who goes to heaven.

As of right now, the show is still in its beginning phase, so unfortunately there aren't currently any posters or trailers.

I'm looking forward to this, especially since in America we seem to have this idea that atheism hardly exists, and anyone who is an atheist is some kind of moral-less child killer.

I dunno. This sounds like it could be a big hit or miss. It's got talent and humor, but it's viewer base may be limited in some areas (i.e. the Bible Belt).

Even though I'm not an athiest, I'll probably watch this. Anyway you slice it, Ricky Gervais is funny.

Sounds like it could be amusing, though I doubt it's going to win any support for atheism seeing as the premise of the show is that the atheist is wrong.
