Hardkick 10 isn't in there , the kick is made with 3xOsc just like the synth. I'll post a mp3 with the demo of the kick on it's own.

Talking bout the obvious hardkick10 in the link in your first post. And even if that aint hardkick10, it's not exactly that original sounding any more (Nor does it sound good, at all). Doubt you'd get a release with this. Everything sounds empty and dry, no atmosphere at all. But hey, there's a lot of shitty and un-original producers under Cloud9, so who knows? [b]Edit[/b] Alright, I'm realising i'm coming off a little harsh here, it's just that I have love for this scene. A lot of new producers sound the same/wanna sound the same as every other big name out there, and it's kind of what is ruining this scene. Hardstyle is being commercialised this way, and it shouldn't be. I don't want it to turn into some shitty trance/techno like genre, where every song has basically the same 2 synths and kick (the infamous "hardkick10" punch sample in the case of hardstyle). I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you [i]really[/i] wanna make it out there, and you have love for the music, [i]try[/i] to sound original. Come up with your own sounds, trial and error, etc. It's alright to use samples/presets for now, but try creating a own style when you've learned the basics and gained some skills.

Pretty sure he either ripped it from this one Angerfist track (can't remember which, but it's like 99% the same), or he made it himself (not that hard either; Just pitch down your kick with an envelope/LFO, mess around with some distortion, EQ it, and add some reverb. I can get it to sound like 80% the same or something).

And... well, on pretty much everything else as well... - Kick needs way more mid, it sounds like you layered a punch on top of a bass as it is now. - Punch sounds like it's panned slightly to the left, don't do that. Leave kicks and basses in mono (Percussion can be panned slightly to the left or right to leave room for synths occupying the same frequencies). (Although the panning thing could be something on my side, only skimmed through it on headphones) - Have something interesting happen throughout the intro, it's the same thing looped a couple of times - Kick sounds horrible when pitched up throughout the melody. Pretty sure that's the one, sounds like it atleast. Atleast I'm able to enjoy the kick in that track.
