Merge 'Compatibility Files' with Containing Folder?

When downloading music on Windows 7 my files appear to save to the correct loaction but when browsing to that location the folder is empty, in order to view the files I have to click on Compatibility Files after Windows has decided to create a 'virtual' set of files for whatever reason. Is there a way to disable this so I can view my music without having to click compatibility files every time?

Fixed it, turned out it was User Access Control behind the problem, disabling it resolved it.
