JROTC stands for junior officer training corp. The purpose of JROTC is "to instill in students in secondary educational institutions the values of citizenship, service to the United States, and personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment. The Department of the Army has declared those objectives for each cadet to be: Developing self-reliance, leadership, and responsiveness to constituted authority. Improving the ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Developing an appreciation of the importance of physical fitness. Increasing a respect for the role of the U.S. Armed Forces in support of national objectives. Developing a knowledge of team building skills and basic military skills. Taking 2 to 4 years of the course allows the cadets to instantly rank higher if they pursue a military career. Their are 4 types of branches for the jrotc there are the MCJROTC (Im currently enrolled in this program), AFJROTC (Air force jrotc), AJROTC (Army jrotc), and NJROTC (Navy jrotc) Our school has student programs like drill, its all student run and when you are a higher ranked cadet you institute a higher level of leadership amongst the other cadets. Which means you teach other cadets, instead of teachers teaching them. Last year trophy showcase: Our school competing at william penn of our Armed exhibiton drill team in early december. In this drill meet we recieved: 1ST Place Unarmed Regulation Drill 1ST Place Unarmed Exhibition Drill 2ND Place in Color Guard and Inspection and 3RD Place in Armed Regulation Drill. The MCJROTC helps us train for a better future by instilling us in community service events like helping senior citizens at local rest homes.
Picklesuits. In high school its completely useless, college it is semi useful, but otherwise meh.
lol dancing
I remember this shit back in Highschool. The only shitty part of JROTC was those high ranked kids thinking they're better than everyone because they have 2 diamonds in their hat.
The JROTC people at my school think they're so BA and go around acting like giant Pricks. The puny kids join it to look cool.
JROTC stands for junior officer training core.
Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. :eng101: And everyone I know in the program won't quit bitching about it, it's kind of making me a little hesitant in joining. Except for one kid, but he's crazy and even a little suicidal, so I try my best to ignore his opinion completely.
I hate everyone in JROTC, first and foremost ROTC stands for Retards on the campus. Second, everyone in there thinks they are top shit when they are all WoW fags who think they are good enough for the air force.
Had to guarantee 1st post
Your life was depending on it
JROTC stands for junior officer training core.
corps

Our program has strict rules to abide by and we "mostly" act in a professional manner at all times when wearing the uniform
ROTC pays for a lot of your college shit I hear
Only ROTC we have at my school is navy. And well, fuck the navy.
My school's JROTC is chill as fuck. Maybe thats why we keep losing. :saddowns:
Today we ran a 1 mile platoon formation run in the snow. it wasn't that fun
Enjoy dying after your legs get blown off by a roadside IED while you're in Afghanistan, OP! I was a ROTC NAZI at one point for 4 years, only my experience was entirely different from everyone else. The ROTC people were generally respectful and since our school was on base at the USAFA we kind of had a reputation to uphold. I found the experience to be very positive and helped me out a lot. The ROTC kids aren't dicks about it either, most of them come from military backgrounds and are usually either AP students or kids with financial issues. You shouldn't judge people because they take a class you are too edgy to join.

The simulator was for testing skill in the Atlanta Air Force base. They also had a room for night vision demonstration it was the neatest shit
It's HIGH SCHOOL rotc. I dont think we will take a field trip to afghanistan anytime soon.
They're training you to be in the military, smartypants. JROTC is fucking pointless if you don't plan on joining the military, and if you DO join the military you'll be going over to Afgannystans or the Eye-rack to go shoot some terrists in th' sand countries.

Great crash course actually.
I'm in the ATC, the British equivalent of the J.R.O.T.C. To put it simply, it's great.

They dont train you for anything, they help build leadership, and things needed in society I sound like a monkey behind a desk
The JROTC people at my school think they're so BA and go around acting like giant Pricks. The puny kids join it to look cool.
Pretty much this.
Enjoy dying after your legs get blown off by a roadside IED while you're in Afghanistan, OP!
That's not even remotely funny.
I'm in the ATC, the British equivalent of the J.R.O.T.C. To put it simply, it's great.
Except that ACF is infinitely more awesome than ATC and the JROTC.

That's not even remotely funny, in fact that is sick.
This too.
