I wanted to try starting out a thread in which people could recommend lesser known (for the most part) but good quality movies of any genre (no porn movies please) to us fellow movie watchers. To start us off here's my picks from some different catagories; Action: "Dark City" More info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118929/ This one falls under action sci-fi but it is good nontheless. Cartoon: "Cats Don't Dance" More Info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118829/ Cheesy feel good movie with beautiful animation and visuals, makes you look back on the glory days of American animation... Comedy "Hot Fuzz" More Info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0425112/ An awesome comedy/Action film starring the cast of "Shawn of the Dead" Drama/Suspense "The Andromeda Strain" More Info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066769/ A great Michael Crichton adaptation that makes a suspenseful two part mini-movie. Horror "Event Horizon" More Info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119081/ A pretty creepy space-horror style movie akin to Deadspace. Well that's all from me for now. Please post your own suggestions but please don't be critical of each others picks, remember no one is forcing you to watch any of these! Have fun and thanks for reading! :siren: Note: To help keep the thread organized try to post in a similar format to mine: Category Title Trailer Link (User was banned for this post ("Wrong section." - ventilated))
Hot Fuzz is pretty well known as far as I'm concerned.
Hot Fuzz is pretty well known as far as I'm concerned.
Please read OP I said "for the most part" that means they don't have to be lesser known I just liked the movie.
Cat's don't Dance was the first time furries were on the big screen.
Cat's don't Dance was the first time furries were on the big screen.
I had no intentions of bringing furry into this. A lot of animated films use anthropomorphic characters. It was one of the last American hand animated films, which is why I posted it.
I never said it was bad, it gave me nightmares when the crazy bitch girl attempted to murder half the cast.
