http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3447#sp Current motherboard. I reset my computer because the buttons on the keyboard were acting up. "holy shit wtf?" comp shut down, but never booted up. I unplugged keyboard and reset, still black screen fans spinning. I can not hear beeps due to the case its in so i took monitor, it works. Took hard drive and putit in my brothers comp. it loaded. Tried the blue cable, no go. Tried reseating ram and cpu still no go. Put my brothers psu in mine still a no go. Tried without gpu, no go. Nothing to get my screen working. Tl;dr. Iveconcluded my mobo shorted out or something is wrong with it. Link above to current mobo. I cant find it anywhere. Please help find similar or exact for not too expencive. Thanks in advance and excuse the horrible read.
What CPU do you have?
AMD athalon 2, I'll need to get the seriel number if you need more than that
There are a lot of Athlon 2 processors, you'll want to look for a motherboard with the same socket type(AM3,AM2+, or, AM2)
Try a different PSU first.

current mobo says AMD3/2+ Seriel number of CPU ADX2450ck23gq 2.9 duel core. pins look like [editline]4th April 2014[/editline] Dat foot doe [editline]4th April 2014[/editline] Dat foot doe
Dat ISO doe Dat focus doe Your CPU chip is an AM3 socket type. What is your budget for parts? A better cpu/mobo combo upgrade may be in order. Otherwise, I have built 3 PCs for freinds and family recently using this MOBO and it's a pretty nice piece that will give you a lot of headroom for something like a FX8350 upgrade in the future. I dont always use apple products, but when i do my computer is usually broken. Also lets see if we cant incorperate a new processor... Its not my money going towards it so lets try to keep it under a hundo. [editline]4th April 2014[/editline] Holy shit is that part of a satalite? [editline]4th April 2014[/editline] I def dont need 4 pcie. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138376
If you choose to go with an AM3 board, you will need to also buy DDR3 RAM as your DDR2 won't work.
Get new ram brah, that ddr2 gear is wack [t]http://station79.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/hackers_matthew_lillard.jpg[/t] I'll see if i can help you come up with a budget build later.

Naah, they still have hybrid DDR2/DDR3 motherboards: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157469 You can't use both memory types at the same time though, and there are some compatibility issues. You can't use AM2 CPUs with DDR3 and you can't use Bulldozer (AM3+) CPUs with DDR2 memory. I think most AM3 CPUs though can use either DDR2 or DDR3 though.
Well, as long as this works, and im good for another year. untill the new crap comes out and i get myself well off im going to sit on this. After i'll build a new one.
