It was so bad here that I damn near fell over when a gust of wind caught me.

Which, come to think of it, doesn't seem very impressive given that there's a picture in the OP of that having happened to a truck.

Worst fatality so far.
rip roof slates
It hit me early this morning. Nothing happened.
-snip-
Happens the day before I'm meant to get a train to a university reunion I've been looking forward to for months.
Fuck this gay earth

Hey that's near me
lol@britain
Thankfully not as bad where I live. Still got soaked, though, getting off the bus when the waves broke over the wall at the bus stop.

Sheffield, Centretainment it happened.
Can't be all that bad, this guy seems to be enjoying it:

And thre I was thinking it was surreal when leaves were flying double the height of a human outside :v:
I'm in a flood warning area, I really hope it doesn't get to me.
The people across the road from me had their shed blow up and over a fence and become scrap metal on their front garden.
Not just Britain, it's currently hitting the Netherlands as well.
It has hit Denmark pretty bad too, they're reporting the worst wind-gusts in many decades and our windows are bending inwards. It's pretty scary.
Fence pannel came loose
In London the only casualties I've personally seen are construction roadblocks that fell down.
Greenwich/Bexleyheath
Little further north, getting some strong gusts and branches are coming off. Can't wait until tomorrow morning when First Capital Connect cancels all of their trains because "there was wind and a branch fell or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

wait, fuck. I fucking hope Southeastern won't cancel tomorrow's train. I take train every morning to get to my school because it takes 28 minutes instead of a hour and a half via buses. fuck fuck fuck
One of my fence panels managed to snap in half.
And we had a market stall collapse.

I live in a flood zone :(
No wonder it has been this windy in the morning here then... I will be also travelling by plane on monday...
I love the 5 pictures gradually showing the woman falling over.
Strange how we just had the biggest storm in years a few months ago.
I got pushed over.
Was. Not. Fun.

And yet the people swimming in the dirty, sewage-laced water surprisingly do not care.
