It was so bad here that I damn near fell over when a gust of wind caught me. [editline]edited:[/editline] Which, come to think of it, doesn't seem very impressive given that there's a picture in the OP of that having happened to a truck.

The people across the road from me had their shed blow up and over a fence and become scrap metal on their front garden.

Not just Britain, it's currently hitting the Netherlands as well.

It has hit Denmark pretty bad too, they're reporting the worst wind-gusts in many decades and our windows are bending inwards. It's pretty scary.

In London the only casualties I've personally seen are construction roadblocks that fell down. Greenwich/Bexleyheath
