There is not yet an official tally of the number of dead and injured. "Several people are stuck in their cars. We have a large number of ambulances on their way and we are sending a bus to evacuate the area," Haraldsson said. According to the Expressen newspaper, the wreck involved approximately 100 vehicles, but exact figures remain hard to come by. A press photographer on the scene said the scene of the accident "stretches as far as the eye can see" and involves cars on both sides of the motorway. "I can see how an emergency services fuel truck has crashed into a truck, which is now lying across the lanes," Scanpix photographer Björn Lindgren told TT. "On the other side, I can see two trucks that have rammed into one another, tearing the load from one." Haraldsson confirmed that an emergency service fuel truck was involved in the crash. "But none of our staff were injured," he said. Luckily one of them had a mini look into the future and saw the crash happen and managed to save 5 people just as the crash was about to happen...... those 5 people will die horrrible deaths within the next week.

First thing I thought of was Final Destination 2. I'm sorry.

Apparently only 1 person died, there's 6 people left in the hospital but they're in a stable condition. It's sad that somebody died but at the same time it could've been a lot worse.

Thats a lot of semi-trucks...
