During a press conference, Christie noted that his state paid more in federal taxes than they got back, which was not true to of the state that Paul represented. According to the Tax Foundation, for every $1.00 Kentucky’s taxpayers send to Washington, they get back $1.51. In contrast, for every $1.00 New Jersey’s taxpayers sent to Washington, they get only 61 cents back. “I find it interesting that Senator Paul is accusing us of having a gimme, gimme, gimme attitude toward federal spending when in fact New Jersey is a donor state, we get 61 cents back on every dollar we send to Washington,” Christie said. “And interestingly Kentucky gets $1.51 on every dollar they sent to Washington.”
I find it frightening that either of these people could be our next president.
Chris Christie is just your pre-Tea Party Republican Rand Paul is the 'father' of the Tea Party though
I'd much rather have chris than rand.
Republicans think Christie is a traitor and Rand's libertarian so he's out, neither really has a shot
I'd rather have Christie than Paul. Christie is an asshole, but he's better than the new generation of Republicans. And Rand Paul is a fucking psychopath, he shouldn't be in charge of a McDonald's let alone a state or country.

I'm not too much a fan of Republicans, but Christie really handled hurricane hitting my state well, so I'm leaning toward him.

i actually live in kentucky and have been looking at rand pauls crazy face on signs (interestingly the neighborhoods that put up signs seem to have come to the consensus that just one political yard sign isn't enough, and every person needs to put up the same ones every 35 feet) since before everyone realized ron paul had a son i hope this dooder doesnt end up with any real say in anything also;let me tell u folks about dat sweet kentucky welfare.
A red state that relies on federal money to function, what a shock.
