Ghost is awesome in concert, they opened for Mastodon and Opeth and blew them both out of the water.
Saw them twice now, just saw them at the House of Blues in Vegas. That venue fucking sucks but they're badass in show, seriously.
I'm not a HUGE fan of their whole satanic motif, i get that it's satire and they're playing off the scare in the 80s when people thought metal was full of devil worship, but personally I'm not a big fan of it.
one reason I really like this song, though, is that it's not really in your face about it. do they have more songs that are like that? I don't know much about them, I just saw the m on the show and really enjoyed it.
Saw soooo many Ghost cosplays this year. The goth scene has been on the downswing in recent years so it's really cool to see a gothic band like this playing on such a well recognized show.
They are fantastic live. Unfortunately I've only seen them outdoors mid-day, as they opened for Metallica&Slayer. Awesome anyways.

Honestly, I'd say their entire discography is like that. Their newest album, Meliora, which this song is from seems like it's not as heavy as their other two. If you want something far away from the whole Satan thing, you can try their covers, like the one they did of Here Comes the Sun.
I wasn't a fan of the more recent style till I saw this video, but I guess both of their costumes are pretty badass.
I also love the whole anonymous thing, especially how Dave Grohl dressed up and performed with them secretly.

And fully agree with Tuna, their cover of If You Have Ghosts is amazing.
Also the cover of "Crucified" is beautiful, one of my favs.

Jon Batiste (Colbert's band leader) played the keytar solo in the Cirice performance, unless Ghost suddenly got a sixth member that was also black.
I'm surprised how clear he can get his vocals since he wears a silicone/latex mask.
I'm not ruling out the possibility that he's lip syncing, although I doubt it

I saw them play live before, there isn't any lip synch going on. The only downside to these tv performances is how dead the acoustics are, makes the instruments sound very weak.
Seeing them 5th of December!
Hyped :D

They sounded extremely clean and well mixed for a TV performance. There's definitely a vocal backing track going on here at least, though

They're just Ghost. I have no idea why people still call them that.
I've been hearing this song on the radio in my area, thought it was really good but never looked into it. Saw that Ghosts have an album up for anyone to listen to.
I really enjoy their stuff.
Pretty crazy that they were on Colbert.
I really like ghost; saw them at download in 2013 and originally thought they'd be OTT black metal, but I really like how they still have rock / heavier undertones but are very melodic and tuneful. I get flashbacks to 70's & 80's rock from their stuff
I love the sound that came from this recording honestly, despite it being shortened a bit. Seems like the techs boosted the bass guitar and backing vocals for this, which IMO gave it more of an "mmph" to it. Their live performance is to die for though. I'd recommend seeing them if you ever get the chance!
