faber-castel pencils r cheap shit anyway
Compared to the stuff milenials are doing in their free time I find it hilarious that somehow baby-boomers are getting upset about middle aged people doing coloring books
faber-castel pencils r cheap shit anyway
Dunno 'bout you but they were premium when I was in school. There are far crappier brands out there that cost half as much [editline]21st March 2016[/editline] Faber-Castell shareholders should really be overjoyed at this weird trend

time to invest stock in colored pencil companies
Never did I think this would happen now that computers are everywhere.
My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos, ruined dreams, this wasted land. But most of all, I remember the road artist, the man we called Max. To understand who he was we have to go back to the other time, when the world was powered by colored pencils and the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel — gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten two mighty artist tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without pencils they were nothing. They'd built a house of straw.
just buy crayons
Cut down more trees.
faber-castel pencils r cheap shit anyway
some of their pens are pretty decent though their selection of fine lines are very good for the price
Never did I think this would happen now that computers are everywhere.
There's been a trend in people switching over to analogue lately. Although, with the arts, I honestly don't see why. Since computers can do almost everything now.

Though for things like coloring it doesn't make much sense to me.
Why the hell are colored pencils so much?
Faber-Castell is a high-end brand. Stuff like quality of wood, consistency of color throughout the pencil, precision of shades, and other quality control enters in to it. Your average colored pencils cost less than a dollar per pencil.
I have never heard of adult coloring books, why is that a thing?
I have never heard of adult coloring books, why is that a thing?
Good to help practice mindfulness and meditation, great supplementary therapy for stress and anxiety disorders. Super intricate patterns encourage deep focus and your complete attention
Or because it's fun? I dunno.
Well, Time to begin stocking up for the pencil crisis. Still. I wish we did hardcore recycling. You've got pencils and rulers and no longer need them.. We want them.
Never did I think this would happen now that computers are everywhere.
Colouring is a way of having a 'digital detox', but sometimes I can't help but wonder why that's the case considering there are colouring apps out there as well :v: [editline]21st March 2016[/editline]
just buy crayons
and felt-tips!
My mom has gotten into coloring pretty heavy. She's filled up a couple whole books already and comes home with new colored pencils like every day. Her desk is a mess of coloring pages and more pencils than I've ever seen in my life. It's getting pretty ridiculous. Please pray for my mom.
i did some adult colouring at my gfs today, its a lot of fun. there was a page with 3 flamingos and i told her they were toucans and coloured them in like toucan sam. very relaxing
faber-castel pencils r cheap shit anyway
You joking right? My mom got pissed off every time schools asked for colored pencils like Faber Castel or caran d'ache or whatever, which cost a fuckton of money, and would end up being useless.

These books don't need artist grade supplies, it just so happens to be the one quoted by the article
