Okay, I know Europe is a bit more open with sex than we are, but what the fuck is that doing in a hospital? Even if it's not rape (I see nothing to point either way on whether it's rape or just an orgy), that's still just fucking weird to be on a fucking mural.

The entire continent of Europe is not like France. This is just the french being weird.
My guess is that originally it was a mural to raise rape awareness or something of the sort.
The text bubbles were added in photoshop and implied that Wonderwoman was France's Health Minister, so people got upset that it had be twisted into a political attack on a real person. Then feminists complained it was sexist and the hospital painted over it.
So in summary the French continue to be all bark and no bite with free speech, though since it was on private property the hospital had perfect grounds to remove the piece to save face.

Frescos need to be painted while the plaster is still wet, which makes it even weirder than it already is.

It's possible students made it when graduating. The quality is similar to the murals and monuments for the same purpose at the school I went to. (Though those are a lot less explicit.)
Start a petition and have it whitewashed over, and presto! Your problem is no more.
I'll admit, it's kinda funny. BUT SHAME ON THE ARTIST! DC superheroes are supposed to be absolute paragons of good and justices.
