LIARS. :argh:
odd, try "Reset Game Configurations"
For those not understanding this, it has to do with upgrading those old games to the current engine. The games themselves already upgraded, but the SDK still thought they were on the old engine, making modding problematic.
Nothing too exciting, but at least they're fixing stuff for us, though they get nothing out of it.

Yeah, rate me dumb because I don't know something.
gah finally. i really was hating having to use the old model browser for hammer.
So these up dated game will break mods using 2006 engine?

That wasn't a bad prediction, it was a horrible prediction. The soonest we will even come close to dynamic lighting is the Portal 2 SDK.

Not sure what you're referring to but dynamic lighting is already present in the source engine:

I what's becoming industry standard lighting isn't yet present in source since their version of dynamic lights and the env_projecttexture are outdated.

I guess*

No. At least, it shouldn't. Really, it's just making the SDK use the right version of Hammer for mapping for these games.
Does this fix Faceposer not working properly in Vista?
Hm, was looking for the change log, good.
That's coming - apparently.
Great news, I was hoping they'd release that.
