I logged on to my FP account after seeing the "Your account could be compromised." thread, and I was going to change my password; when I did it said "Your password is over <x> days old, please change it." I changed it and logged off. Later, I tried to log in again, but the PW I set didn't work. I changed it quickly, but I'm wondering; is this a legitimate message, or something related to the recent hacks?
it's 100% legit
Everyone on FP got one
Lulzsec managed to gather the logins for all battlefield heroes beta users and their passwords. Most FPers played this game.
My password was 845 days old :v:
Everyone got one, and I unfortunately, was one of the many to get my account hacked. Though, the best place to ask this would've been in the Account Compromised thread.
1425 days with the same password
if it lasted 1425 fucking days it can well last more
password renewal is idiotic
It's probably a combination of paranoia, on the admins part, and of just basic security measures that most websites do.

Is anyone else getting FP logging them out every 20 minutes
