Hi.
The thread is simple.
You take a certain canon or universe that you created, and you draw out past events, essentially telling a story to fellow threadgoers.
Basically, create a series of pictures telling a story, with some side text/dialogue in the post if you please.
Your drawings can be in any format, be it pixel art, freehanding, and whatever other chibi anime crazyshit that pleases you.
Here's some rules:
1. Only tell a story for your own stuff, unless of course the creator puts you in charge of doing it for him or something.
2. Link NSFW images/drawings.
3. All posts should be in this format:

Story/event name
Story universe/canon/faction
Story part (e.i. part 1, 2)
<Image here>
<Story text here>
4. Don't randomly inject elements and shit into other peoples' images/stories. If one of your universes/canons/factions are supposed to cross into their story, set something up.
Shall I start?
Beta Insurrection; Founding of the Imperial Knights
Create a Planet Semi-canon; The Terran Empire
Part 1

Year: 16340 AD
Alpha Proxima II, Beta Centauri System, Milky Way Galaxy
The Imperial Militia; The Terran Empire's mainstay planetary defence forces of each Terran colony. Founded early on in response to a shortage of troops in the Terran Shock Army, The precursors to the modern Terran Imperial Marine corps. During the Great Xeno Wars, The Terran Shock Army was unable to deploy quickly enough through the vast expanses of space to each planet, even with Faster Than light spacecraft travel, and the Terran Empire's grip was withering. In response to this, The High Terran Council at earth formed a Federation-like military force that would have its own local garrison for each Imperial planet, recruited voluntarily from the populace, unless drafting was necessary.
For many years had the Empire mistreated the Beta Centauran system and its populating planets. Armed with weapons, a competent troop number, skill, and a solid hold within their planet, the Imperial Militia force on Alpha Proxima II was about to incite a system-wide rebellion that would threaten the Empire's grip on the entire region, light years across, and forever change the Terran Empire's political and military doctrine..
sounds cool, i'll post tomorrow
Oh goody, now I can spew the massive story of the Coalition.
Hold on to your butts.
The Year is 3457, and Mankind rules the Galaxy.
Long ago, before the first men of Earth were ever conceived, the humans remained as one of the oldest and most dominant species in the Universe. They dominated galaxies and had built a massive space-faring Empire. Even with all of our knowledge, most of what was known of those days has faded into obscurity due simply to time. However, we do know the humble origins of the human race.
Humans actually evolved on the planet that came to be known as Centurium, for it was regarded as the center of the universe (metaphorically speaking) No records exist of a planet being where Centurium has fabled to have been, but studies of that point in space reveal small particles of sediment floating freely, so it is believed that the planet existed, but was completely annihilated.
It is not known when humanity fully achieved space travel. It is estimated to have been the 5 or 6th Aeon, but nobody truthfully knows. However, the humans quickly used it to their advantage, colonizing many areas and taking over their galaxy. It is believed that they were the only intelligent life-forms in their galaxy, so colonizing came easy. Back then, they were a humble republic made of 10 houses, with a senate of around 50 seats. Each house fought both politically and sometimes physically for senate seats, as they were of great importance. This caused a massive divide between the houses of the Empire, and it would later come back to haunt them.
The First Imperial Civil War - 8th Aeon
History is well documented at this point in time, and we know much more about the Empire from this period. The Republic, after many billions of years, finally collapsed into Civil War. Indeed, it was the largest war at that point in time. Casualties were immense and innumerable, and the resources expended where even worse. Some 36,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (36 Sextillion) people are estimated to have died as a result of the war. It was instigated by House Byrell , which broke away from the republic. 3 more houses joined it. House Galacia fought for the seat of the Empire, with another house loyal to it. The other houses fought either against each other or under the republics banner. In the end, the houses had effectively destroyed themselves, made at least 2,000 planets uninhabitable, and completely annihilated 342 others. The war had lasted almost 60,000 years. In the end, the victor was House Galacia, which firmly established an Empire and completely did away with the Republic system. The rebuilding process took a great many years, and the effects of the war are still prevalent today.
Rebuilding the Fractured Empire - 8-12th Aeons
The Empire was under continued rebuilding. The first order of business was too rebuild and advance the military to fight off the many rebel planets and Xeno Empires looking for a piece of the pie. Technological advancement occurred on an unprecedented scale, and the military quickly regrew. A new order, the Order of the Sword, was put in place to manage further expansion, colonization, and war for the Empire, leaving the Emperor to focus on other matters. The Order grew to be elite, and conquered many more worlds to add to their domain. Before long, the Empire had gained a new title. It was officially the largest Empire in the Universe. It owned trilliards (no, not trillions, trilliards) of planets and many galaxies. However, one technological discovery would launch them forward. Negative ("Black") Energy crystals, solidified negative energy condensed naturally into a single form. It is considered the rarest of all items, and defies explanation. It is not a mineral or even solid matter, it is really the fabric of space and time itself. These crystals hold unfathomable amounts of energy just waiting to be harnessed. They brought technology to a new level, and indeed brought the Empire into a golden age! But these rare crystals are sought by every power in the galaxy, and so late into the 12th Aeon, war struck the Empire again.
Dissolution of the Empire - 12th Aeon
The Empire waged a long and bloody war with millions of other empires. The pressure had been breaking the Empire now for years, and most people were tired of being ruled by one man. Indeed, one man can only rule so much. So, inevitably, more and more empires broke away. The predominant ones were the GTU, the Great Council, the NGF, and the loyalist, which was mostly the Galacian Empire as it was known. Many more years of bloody conflict followed. The Galacians used the dark energy crystal to procure a weapon of mass destruction capable of wiping out galaxies. The Nexus was the most feared starship in the Universe. It was when war came with a small, unknown Empire did the ship get destroyed. A race of cyborgs launched one of their guns, and it collided in just the right spot and the right time, causing a singularity in space and time that destroyed a galaxy. The Nexus was later used as a starship by the Scrin after being rebuilt, but a Galacian boarding party reclaimed the crystal. Due to the devastation, it was vowed in the Treaty of Grasus that no dark energy crystal would ever be used for purposes of war or harm ever again. The crystals were slated to be placed in a highly secured station in which all the Imperial States could utilize them and research them, but calamity struck and the station was never finished.
The Crystal War (also known as the 2nd Imperial Civil War) ended up being the longest war in history, lasting 2 billion years. It resulted in an estimated 604 Quadrillion deaths. Entire galaxies and species were annihilated, great empires fell, and the galaxy recessed into darkness.
The Age of Darkness - 14 - 15th Aeon
The Age of Darkness followed the war. So many lives were lost that technological advancement slowed, and entire planets regressed into a period of medieval stasis. This age became a time of plague, death, and war. The fractured Empire did not survive. The Galacian line was killed on the steps of the Golden Hall in cold blood, the GTU and the NGF fell back into bitter war that ended with both dissolving their empires, and the Great Council, the last conglomeration of xeno and human empires dissolved after years of economic hardship. In the end, it seemed as though the Universe had died off. The last hope was a colony ship, inbound for a relatively standard planet in the Milky Way galaxy. The planet Terra. The colonists had their memories wiped and were to start again, fresh, so as to not make the same mistakes of their forefathers. In the end, these colonists became us, who we are today. But wait, there is even more to this story.
The Reformation -16th Aeon
Out of the cold, embittered emptiness of space, a small ship floated mindlessly about. On board was the last hope for the Universe. This ship, the Remus Prime, carried on board the single most advanced piece of technology to survive the war. It was a database of all collected knowledge in the Universe, put together by the Great Council before they dissolved. The ship was inbound to the Council's home planet when contact was lost. The crew was believed to have been slaughtered. The ship found it's way to Earth, where we, only then starting to expand beyond our solar system in manned flight, discovered it. Before we could decipher it and build these technologies, the Solar System was flooded with empires all seeking it. In the end, war came to Earth, where the United Nations Space Corps was overwhelmed by the other empires. Some fought with the Earthlings, some against them. Earth became a battlefield. Eventually, the ship came into the possession of the Berutarians, a small, economic based empire with a hatred of xenos, that hailed from an ice world long frozen over by global cooling. They took the tech and quickly reformed their military. Hundreds of thousands of other human empires joined them and eventually the Coalition of Human Empires was born. The Coalition has sense been conquering and expanding in ever field, trying to recreate the once great and proud Empire. They are still searching for the Dark Energy Crystals as well.
In the end, the Coalition is only a shadow of the Empire. Yet even in the shadow of giants, one can stand tall.
Great, another thread for milkdairy to create a "backstory" for his loopholes and reasoning for his apparently all-destroying weaponry :v:
Yet the Coalition is cross-galactic n shit :v:
Yeah, the Coalition is meant to be big.
I took a lot of inspiration from Warhammer 40k, but decided to keep the Coalition faily nice (to humans, anyways)
Calamity doesn't follow the rules of lightning. [Lighting doesn't strike the same place twice]
The King's Dangled Knives
Pt. 1-1 [Out of1]

That fuck finally did it. He fucked us all. He fucked the world. He was the catalyst. He was the man behind it all, the man behind the war. The. Man. Who. Tried. To. End. Mankind.
We're his task force: The King's Dangled Knives.. (Our motto? take what we want, kill what we want, when we want.) He is the "Esteemed" King. More like dictator of Fuck-All. His bidding is our objective, his iron fist is our silver barrel, his tyranny is our gunshots.
Enough about my job, or my "destiny" as the king says it. Right now, he has us on this desolate hellhole fighting for nothing. He says its "punishment" for their crimes. He just wants to watch them die one by one. And that's what we're doing. We're storming the city of Galastia, the kings alleged hideout.
Go go go!
There was my cue. I went in guns blazing, no survivors. It was a bloody mess when we were finished. Blood on the wall, blood on the floor, blood on my boots. I made sure to smash their skulls as I walked around the room. Out of fucking no where, a gun goes off, taking out our commander. I pretended to be mortified, and ran over to his corpse, trying not to laugh. Some may call me cold-blooded or stone-hearted. I just shot their face, and ripped out their throat in front of a crowd as a lesson to all: Fuck with me, and I fuck you up. I pulled my gun back up, and looked around warily for any suspicious activity. I'd have no problem shooting anything that moved. And with that final thought, another shot rung from across the room, killing the man next to me. This time, I saw who it was, but instead of shooting, I walked over and calmly as I could, ripped his head from his neck.
The fuck never saw it coming.
I laughed and laughed. My teammate thought I was insane. I ripped his throat out.
Who's insane now, asshole?
I saw my other Squad members laughing.
You think that's funny? And I thought I was "Insane"
I went back to searching. I found 3 things: A banana, a shotgun, and splattered brains. How useful. After a while I got bored of searching for this "hideout." I turned around to walk outside, when my other squad members stopped me.
You leave when we leave. Now get back to searching.
I didn't need to think about my next move, did I? Nope. I just shot 'em and walked back to the space ship to send me home. I made up a phony story about how they were ambushed, and I was in the back, just barely surviving. Long story short, before we left, Quarth was barren of life.
That is just one of the many stories behind the horrid Algorith Empire. They ruled the universe. No one could do anything without asking their permission. There were several uprisings. All crushed with ease. But then, he did something he would regret. There was a race of elfish/gnomish people which controlled the universe, making stars, crushing planets, solar systems, even galaxies, with just their mind. The king heard about them. And he wanted their power. All of it. So he took it by force. This was his crushing mistake. They realized he was a threat. But instead of using their power to destroy him, they put his enemies together and bound them with a single sentence: Crush him and you get what you desire most. Most were uncaring, others fled, some went at it with a crooked smile and a sawed-off shotgun.
This is the war of all wars. This is the War of Stupidity. This is the Uprising.
*Cue shitty music*
I officially went off topic, and sucked really hard at the ending.
Can a story can take part on the 2100's of Earth?
Your story cannot conflict with other stories. Do whatever you want 'long as it's your story.
Otherwise, permission permission!
I have an entire universe created. the wall of text would defend more than the wall of china
