Two friends were driving on Chualar Canyon Road south of Salinas just before dawn Sunday when they witnessed strange bursts of green light flashing on the horizon. The duo turned on a video camera, pulled over, hopped a barbed-wire fence, and walked toward the lights. "Dude, are you seeing this?" one friend said. "Dude, this is a crop circle." The friends investigated the field until they panicked and sprinted away. The duo wanted to remain anonymous, and they uploaded a video of their experience on YouTube under the name Cannot Say.
http://www.kcra.com/crop-circles-found-on-chualar-farm/-/11798090/23706704/-/e1ha8cz/-/index.html
I want to believe
What do the dots say/signify, couldn't find anything in the news article (unless it was in the slideshow which isn't working for me).
People are still doing these? I thought the novelty of trolling people with crop circles died in the 90's.
it's not likely at all but... what if it's legit? what if it's actually aliums?
Thats pretty wild. I want more info.
What do the dots say/signify, couldn't find anything in the news article (unless it was in the slideshow which isn't working for me).
Looks like Braille. But as the user below mentioned, if it WERE BRAILLE, then the aliens need to learn how braille works
Looks like Braille.
So these Aliens make pictures in the crops for blind people, seems like they didn't think that one out.
looks really cool tbh
Pretty sure if aliens wanted to communicate to us, they'd actually use something we'd easily understand and not ruin our fucking food at the same time. What dumb aliens would think we'd like someone wrecking our fucking crops just to say "hello".
Their live feed had just a 20 second clip of it, then laughed it off and said the creator remains unknown.

The circles are probably planets in orbit, the boxes in the center are probably a code with a cypher. Its neat that some people actually put effort into them and don't just go out and mat down a bunch of rough circles.
They're impressively precise for some planks and a bit of rope.
Bigfoot did it
I wanna believe in this stuff but something tells me not to just so I don't get called crazy. Well, not the crop circle thing as much as just aliens actually having visited this planet.
I say that Simon Beck did it. http://inhabitat.com/artist-makes-giant-wintry-crop-circles-just-by-walking-in-the-snow/simon-beck-snow-art2/ [T]http://www.picomazing.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/simon-beck-6.jpg[/T]
hello I am an advanced alien I expended more energy than your species can even fathom to travel millions of light years to draw shapes in your plants then I went home
hello I am an advanced alien I expended more energy than your species can even fathom to travel millions of light years to draw shapes in your plants then I went home
Maybe their idea of fun is seeing primitive people freak out over weird shit drawn in fields.
The dude's reaction sounds so forced and unenthusiastic it's almost painful
Maybe their idea of fun is seeing primitive people freak out over weird shit drawn in fields.
wouldn't you do the same thing? It's like leaving corpses in your sims house, just to watch them flip several kinds of shit.

So they might be trying to communicate in that way.
impressive craftsmanship, that circle is pretty circular and those lines are pretty straight.
The dude's reaction sounds so forced and unenthusiastic it's almost painful
Thats probably because they made it.
if aliens can invent intergalactic space travel and come all the way over here but can't apparently can't learn a simple fucking english phrase like "HI, WE'RE ALIENS", then they should go away

The Nazca lines are still more impressive than any crop circles I've seen.

To see if we're worth bothering with, to see if we're smart enough to truly make contact with. Maybe if we solve their puzzle, they'll come out and say that for real. We'd pretty be much like rats in a maze to them. (The above statement would probably be a valid theory if crop circles turned out to be a legit thing instead of seemingly always hoaxes or just left as a cold case)
Reminds me of a processor die. Mips, do you have anything that matches?

looks like a circuit.
