Local media suggest the name of the farm it sits on might be putting people off.
Apparently, Snorrslida, in Swedish, translates to ‘penis vagina’, and let’s be honest, who would want to live there?
I wonder who named it penis cunt
They say in the article that the issue isn't due to the name, but due to the house being poorly maintained and in bad condition.
You Snorrslida
I'm not about to buy a house but if the price dropped steadily, I'd buy this fucker without a second thought, if the name was the only thing that's wrong with it. The article says it's in shit condition though so there's more to it though.
I'd imagine it's the same as having a half-decayed hut on a place named 'shit dump', it's just double bad.
If the house was in decent condition what would the issue really be? Just change the name of the farm, who cares.
I would just buy it and ask to have it renamed

Something like Hitler's Gaping Anus
Some of the most conservative religious people live in intercourse Pennsylvania, so...
Why would an arbitrary name even matter though, just rename the farm, its totally your right to do so after you buy it. I can name my house, its mine

Intercourse isn't a nesscarily sexual term, though. It used to (and still does, if you have an outdated vocabulary) mean conversation. "Penisvagina" is a whole different story. :v:
It should be renamed to something more sensible, such as Anusland.
I would've thought a name like that would be a bonus
Can confirm that the translation is right. Also the word snorre was a common name back in the viking and early medievals. And considering that the house is on a valley-ish location slida in this case means valley. Slida means not only vagina but also slide. The original owner that created the house was probably called snorre and the house was situated on a slide hence the name. "Snorresslida" was basically his homename.
