Normally I can download stuff on steam at about 1.1-2MB/s. Today however it sat at those speeds for maybe an hour, and since then it's been between 0-40KB/s. I thought maybe that something was getting in the way of my wireless signal, so I switched it over to cable, but that didn't change anything. I've also tried restarting steam and the computer a few times but that didn't help either.
My steam download settings are as normal, "DSL/Cable 2M" and "Australia - NSW (Telstra)"
Anyone know what might be wrong?

Mine is really slow as well.
Usually i get about 500 kb/s now im down to about 2.

I have mine on Australia-NSW (Telstra) as well.
I haven't noticed anything abnormally slow about my connection other than the obvious steam issues.

Looks about normal.
This happened to me for a short period of time. I changed to another server in Victoria and I got awesome speeds again.

Swapped to Vic server, getting 13 to 16 kb/s. Doesnt bother me, 96% done anyway.
Hmm, this is indeed a strange problem. I'll just wait until tomorrow and see if it keeps doing it.
Thanks for the suggestions though.
