I doubt anyone really cared about this, I saw it and just skipped over it, but then I saw the above daily mail article trending on facebook. Not only did they already know each other, but the hiker's mom held a fundraiser for Hillary, of which there are photos of on the hiker's facebook page apparently. I don't really see much reason for Hillary to stage the encounter? Sure, it could be staged (photo isn't really very concrete evidence)... But, if you live in a small town, it doesn't seem far-fetched that you could easily bump in to someone.

If I can have a chance encounter spotting my cousin in a city that neither of us live in nor knew the other person was going to be there, I'm sure Hillary can have a chance encounter with the daughter of someone who held a fundraiser for her once in a town of 1500 people.
