Borderlands stuck at download starting/paused on steam.

Hi, i've had problems with a game i purchased named Borderlands, it started around 3 months ago, when i was about to play it and suddenly it was stuck on ''Download starting, Download paused''
I tried deleting the game via the game list, it did not work.
I tried deleting it via the steam folder, it did not work either.
I tried deleting clientregistry.blob, it did not help either.
I've run out of suggestions and i'd like to play this game, or else it'd be a waste of 35 dollars.

Is there something else i could do that could fix this?
I'm sorry if this is a wrong section for the problem, i couldn't find any section more fitting for a problem like this, though.

I've already done that, sorry.
After i did that, i tried to run the game and ''This game is currently not available'' popped up.
