So my grandma went to the hospital last night... She have been screaming in pain for 2 days now , 2 weeks after she got her gallbladder removed due to gallstones. So she went and she just called me saying they said she had a pancreatic tumor. What do I do now? :( I am sad. Give her some morphine. Relatedly, my post count is 911.
I'm trying to wonder what you hoped to gain from posting this
Go see her ?
Go see her ?
At the current time..I can't.
How the hell is a forum supposed to help you?
How the hell is a forum supposed to help you?
Same way when others post stuff like this. Though I am not expecting any moral support from FP ...that's for sure.
I'm trying to wonder what you hoped to gain from posting this
I find threads like these interesting.
This is Facepunch, There needs to be a rule that if somebody goes looking for help they are allowed to be trolled. Use google or something.
Well, they haven't biopsied it yet...still could be Benign.....I hope.
If it's malign, pancreatic cancer is a death sentence.
My uncle has pancreatic cancer - but chemo is helping as the tumor has shrunk down. I do hope it's benign for her sake, it's something nobody should go through.
snip, this was uncalled for.
My uncle has pancreatic cancer - but chemo is helping as the tumor has shrunk down. I do hope it's benign for her sake, it's something nobody should go through.
Yeah...or any form of Cancer.
Not to make you more upset but I feel like you should know about Pancreas cancer, it is one of the most fatal cancers, one of the only ways to catch it early enough is if your being scanned for something else and it shows up or if your looking for it before it really starts. The symptoms start to late usually. I just thought you should know this. look here if you want to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancreatic_cancer My mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer but thankfully shes going to be fine after chemo and radiation.
You should ask for loads of money, coz then when she dies, you dont have to pay it back.
My Grandma is in hospital. Quickly Post on Facepunch!
My Grandma is in hospital. Quickly Post on Facepunch!
Already did....
Cool.
It's called a pancreatic tumor btw, and tumors aren't always malignant, it could just be a benign cist rather than cancerous.
My grandma has Alzheimers, I feel you. :frown:
It's called a pancreatic tumor btw, and tumors aren't always malignant, it could just be a benign cist rather than cancerous.
Fixed...except thread title..as I can't change it.
Steve Jobs lived through it in 2004, so its possible she'll be ok, but him living through that is pretty unbelievable. [editline]10:36AM[/editline] but i think you should really read about it
lol
I will never miss my grandma she was pure evil, she even tricked the devil into selling his soul to her. Or i just don't care as much as i should since my father died 4 years ago.
Well.....okay then.
Well my grandma got dementia so bad she didn't know who my grandpa was and whenever we went to see her my grandad, a hardy WWII veteran who I've always looked up to cried his eyes out. She died a few months ago and the funeral was the worst experience I've ever had in my life. So I wish your grandma the best, but be prepared for the worst. Stay strong. buuuuut I got £6000 in inheritance so.... She was fucked up anyway it was best that she died and ended the suffering.
Prepare for the worst, then if she pulls through, it'll be brilliant, rather than you being in shock if she dies.
Are you trying to convey your sadness through your irritating use of ellipses in every single post?
