I accidentally ordered a [url]http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=15121[/url] only to realize it was an lga 1156 and the i7 9xx series is lga 1366, like an idiot. Anyone know of a socket 1366 mobo around a similar price point (140ish) or are there none at all, the only things I really care about are support for LGA 1336, DDR3-1600 and one PCI-e 2.0 slot.
well on Newegg the cheapest 1366 mobo is $170, and as far as I know all 1366 boards have at least 2 PCI-E slots
anyways,
unless you have a good reason, why don't you just go for 1156? it'll be cheaper
