I recently got a GTS 250 and the fan is loud. On a sound scale, it would be right below a blender. Whenever I run a game Like STALKER SoC, it really does sound like a blender. Is there any way to make it quieter?
Manually adjust the fan speed in the nVidia control panel. Don't lower it so far that the card over heats, though.
Try evga precision for fan controll. Or get an aftermarket cooler for it.
