The footage of the frostbite 2 destruction system in this video is incredible.
When BFBC2 was released I actually thought that they should remake Karkand for the next game :buddy:
I want that level editor...now
Well, time to save up for a new computer.
Fix'd
My levels of want are exceeding critical mass
Fuck I need to upgrade my PC soon...
I hope I get a new computer before BF3 comes out
Frostbite engine 2 looks superior than CryEngine 3

That looks too good to be true. Volumetric/dynamic smoke with light scattering? No. Way. That requires far too much computing power.
The visual and the animations are amazing, here's hoping to be able to run this.
That looks too good to be true. Volumetric/dynamic smoke with light scattering? No. Way. That requires far too much computing power.
looks like that scene is scripted
Oh wow, it all looks amazing.
Mnn Sian Welby.....oh yeah BF3 looks pretty good too.
I heard that they were planning DLC before it even released, and that was making me nervous. But this game looks AMAZING, I am so excited! The only thing that disappoints me is that they are using an ammunition pool and not a magazine system. And most people say magazine systems suck because you lose a lot of bullets, but that is not true. If you look back at an old Half-Life mod called "Hostile Intent", it was a tactical shooter that also used mags (and you couldn't even shoot without aiming down sight, that's how tactical it was trying to be), but you could merge your magazines at the cost of being vulnerable for a little while.
Or more related, BF2 had a mag system as well. It really made you think about when to reload although as long as you had someone as assault nearby it wasn't too big of a deal.

It's been so long since I've play BF2, I wasn't sure if it was just Project Reality that used mags. Didn't want to be wrong on one aspect of my argument, because here on the internet that makes the rest of it invalid. [editline]asdfafsgadfgh[/editline] I also hope they have a hardcore game-mode of some sort. Or at the very least a toggle-able HUD.
Interesting how they're doing the camera shakes. I love to see stuff like that in games.
I don't care if I have to play this on ultra low or whatever, I just want my epic 64 player battles.
Oh my god those rockets at 5:08 :gizz: [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] HNNNNG KARKAND DAT MUSIC :flashfap:
