It's kind of old news, but since I haven't seen any topics on it, yet, here's one.

Natile Portman's going to be producing and starring in a movie adaption of the book "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies".
A little ironic, all things considered, since Kiera Knightley starred in an adaption of "Pride and Prejudice", and Natilie Portman is known for looking a lot like her. (Kiera Knightley acted as one of her doubles in "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace". Their own mothers had a hard time telling them apart.)

I've heard that the funniest thing in the book is the title.
I've never read it, so I don't know, but I've a feeling the movie will either be overdone gory farce or literally "Pride And Prejudice And Zombies" in which case they'll stick to the dialogue like the book and it'll become a niche hit but bomb at the box office.

I read that book. The problem with it is it's about 70% Jane Austen and 30% zombies. Don't get me wrong, there are some hilarious parts and it would make a good movie, but if you can't stand the original P&P, it's not likely that you'll like this, not at first. I think Splurgy nailed it.

It might be because I liked the original P&P, but I quite enjoyed P&P&Z.
Saw the book in a store once and it cracked me up. There's also Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters.
I've seen this in my friends room and it intrigued me.
I'd much rather they make a World War Z movie though.

Anyway, I've seen that cover a few times, looks interesting... I wonder if the movie will be any good.
