https://twitter.com/Reuters Sure had me fooled for a minute there! News organisations' websites/twitters/whatevers seem to get hacked pretty much weekly these days
--- UPDATE --- It's not actually fake! I WAS THROWN BY THEIR STYLE OF REPORTING WOOPS
Imagine if there was a coordinated thing where a bunch of different accounts were hacked and all reported roughly the same story, it could cause an information cascade and potentially lead to an actual skirmish

Oh shit [editline]3rd October 2012[/editline] Al Jazeera now reporting the same story [editline]3rd October 2012[/editline] Ok this is pretty funny that I thought it was fake

This still seems really fishy... but surely AJE haven't been hacked as well
Everyone is hacked Fox News is the only reliable source left
Yep looks like this is actually true WELP
we could have prevented this you only had to listen
That guy must have been pretty damn excited while he was hammering those messages onto Twitter.
wouldn't be unprecedented
what a scary thought, that a series of malfuctions or stream of false information could trigger a potential nuclear strike. is it too late for y2k
