Disney’s D23 Expo starts later today, and we’re expecting to hear lots of new information about their upcoming film slate. Already we have a juicy little tidbit about one of the most anticipated projects, Toy Story 4. Drumming up excitement for this weekend’s expo, Pixar Creative Head John Lasseter revealed Friday morning that Toy Story 4 will be a love story “centered around Woody and Bo Peep.” As moviegoers know, the two characters already had a slight romantic fling in the original trilogy, though the soft-talking porcelain figurine wasn’t present in Toy Story 3. According to Woody, Bo Peep was sold or given away. ... Toy Story 4 was announced last November, and at the time Pixar only described it as a romance-driven story. Since then we’ve also heard that the film will focus primarily on the toys, not the humans. “We love these characters so much; they are like family to us,” said Lasseter in November. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before. Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie—and I wanted to direct it myself.” The fourth film in the Toy Story franchise opens June 2017 and is directed by John Lasseter. Rom-com writing team Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are helping pen the film’s screenplay. Disney’s D23 Expo is happening in Anaheim, California just across the street from Disneyland.
http://www.hypable.com/toy-story-4-plot-woody-bo-peep/ [t]http://i.imgur.com/LLxflqi.jpg[/t]
Oh come on, Toy Story 3 ended on such a good note. Can Hollywood not think of anything new to make?

Just let the series end on a high note.
yeah no thanks.
I have a feeling this is going to be a prequel - and a very underwhelming one, at that.
Funny how people are already saying it's going to be bad when we know FUCK ALL about it.
Wasn't she gone before 3 even started?
Oh come on, Toy Story 3 ended on such a good note. Can Hollywood not think of anything new to make?
They kinda left it open for a sequel when he gives his toys to that little girl.
I always thought it was dumb having Bo Peep missing from the new movie when she was part of the classic cast. Until there is a bad Toy Story, I'll put my faith into Pixar to make it worth seeing.
Wasn't she gone before 3 even started?
Prequels are a thing. Prequel is probably the only way to go, with Toy Story 3's perfect ending.
She was never really an interesting character as far as I can remember. What story is there to tell about them?
The only sequel I feel Pixar should make is an Incredibles two. I want to see Jack-jack developed damn it.
She was never really an interesting character as far as I can remember. What story is there to tell about them?
She had a crush on Woody.
The only sequel I feel Pixar should make is an Incredibles two. I want to see Jack-jack developed damn it.
They are making that
I wouldn't mind a story were the reuse the rumored or original plot to toy story 3 where buzz get's recalled to korea and have a new toy they meet get recalled so they can see the toys from around the world.

They could have come with something better I think.
I... well, okay. I usually defend Pixar to the end of the world, and I still will. But this is a very strange choice of story. :v: Oh well, I remain optimistic. Seems like it'll be a prequel then, and that's kinda alright with me.
The only sequel I feel Pixar should make is an Incredibles two. I want to see Jack-jack developed damn it.
Incredibles 2 is already apparently in production, and Brad Bird is also on for it too.
She had a crush on Woody.
It was more like Woody had a himself for Bo Peep.
Hey Disney how bout a third tron movie instead of another toy story one?
Funny how people are already saying it's going to be bad when we know FUCK ALL about it.
It's gonna be very hard to top 3 is all.

It just keeps getting worse
For me, Anything after Toy Story 3 i consider non canon.
Wasn't she gone before 3 even started?
They hinted at that she was thrown away or sold at a garage sale before 3 started, so it's got to be before 3. Kind of like how MGS5 is before Metal Gear for Nintendo.
That would make it a pointless story even for a prequel
I'm just spit-balling. The way Woody and Rex grimly mentioned Bo Peep in 3 makes it sound really awful. After the plots of 2 and 3, these scenarios sprung to my mind.
She was most likely sold. I would laugh pretty hard if she ended up having been sold to their new owner and she was just in a box or something during the events of TS3, so it was infact not a prequel.
