• Bethesda registers domain with multiple Fallout 4 references
A new domain has been registered by Bethesda, and while nothing can be confirmed at this time, all the signs point to it relating to a brand new Fallout game. Yes, Fallout 4 might have finally been outed. The domain is titled "The Survivor," which sounds eerily familiar to the name of a Fallout protagonist. Vault Dweller, Chosen One, Lone Wanderer, Courier – The Survivor could fit right into the group. The website itself is nothing but a blank screen, but it’s accompanied by a loud beeping that one Reddit user considers to be Morse code. Take a listen for yourself, and see what you think.
http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/18730/article/bethesda-registers-domain-with-multiple-fallout-4-references-dec-11-reveal-possible/ http://thesurvivor2299.com/ [t]http://puu.sh/5icad.png[/t] I want Obsidian to make it, Bethesda will ruin it.
Fuck yeah Bethesda + Obsidian combined is best
I'll reserve judgment until I can actually see whatever it is they're up to.
"thesurvivor2299?" That definitely sounds like Fallout. I know Fallout 3 was in 2277, and wasn't New Vegas in the 2280's?
I can't edit the OP since I get a blank text box but it's also possible it's not Bethesda who registered the site. [t]http://puu.sh/5icKz.png[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/5icLj.png[/t]
I wonder if it's going to be set in the Boston area like all the rumours made it to be.
I hope there is at least a single bugtest done before release. At least one. New Vegas seemed to have zero testing done. Anyone who played that game on release would run into so many bugs that the game had to be played certain ways or it would break. And there are still plenty of broken quests in that game, years later.
It's going to be a mobile game only on iOS tablets for $15.99.

I kinda hope for another western/desert setting, but I will be happy with whatever.

Talk to the people in the wrong order and the quest will lock. You have to kill all of them to continue.
from the source code: <!-- European RTMP Server 5.131.13.121 American RTMP Server 199.107.64.171 --> go to 199.107.64.171 in your webbrowser: http://bethsoft.com/age also the name of the audio file is "bridgeport-5284ec0d1b93c.mp3" bridgeport means nothing to me, does it mean anything to you? one more thing, i'm not 100% sure but the source code of the website seems to store cookies on your computer, and then check the age of those cookies each time you connect. There's some obfuscation at the part that says what it should do if the cookie "mature" This could just be standard cookie stuff to check if it expired and give you a new one, but hey maybe not right! --- fallout.js and "css/css.css" are not currently on this domain but they are referenced. The first script is a countdown as we already know. I figure they plan to have whatever fallout.js is added to it's correct location when the countdown ends. The page is already calling for it but its not there, thus the black screen. We shall see!
Bethesda is marginally better. I guess it's too early for a new engine to be used? :v:
it'd use the same engine as skyrim, which will be nice
We'll just have to wait until December 11 to see if anything happens because this website is giving us next to nothing to go on, at least as far as I can tell.
I hope it's gonna be fallout, and not like the name may hint, a pure survival game put in the fallout universe.
Has anyone got round to decoding the Morse code? Edit: It apparently says 11/12/13 Date of reveal then?
I hope Bethesda doesn't touch the writing. I also hope that it's not a shitty version of gamebryo

Please God may it not run on Gamebryo.
it'd use the same engine as skyrim, which will be nice
Creation engine is Gamebryo with some modifications.
I hope Bethesda doesn't touch the writing. I also hope that it's not a shitty version of gamebryo
I'd also like Bethesda not to touch the rpg mechanics. With that added it seems them not touching it at all would be for the best, but you can't have it all
I want Bethesda to do nothing and leave it to people who actually know what the fuck they're doing.
I'd just like some proper modding support of some degree so we don't have to hack the shit out it using FOSE or whatever.
Please God may it not run on Gamebryo.
It's not a Bethesda game if picking something off a table doesn't make everything else on the table jump in the air
Creation engine is Gamebryo with some modifications.
Mostly graphical, and angled movement animations.
"thesurvivor2299?" That definitely sounds like Fallout. I know Fallout 3 was in 2277, and wasn't New Vegas in the 2280's?
NV was either four years or four months after fallout 3
I wonder if it's going to be set in the Boston area like all the rumours made it to be.
The commonwealth. Thats where a lot of people think it'll be.
Please God may it not run on Gamebryo.
its going to bethesda really needs to fucking learn how shitty gamebryo can be I mean seriously
