Me and my brother spent a little while on newegg trying to build a decent PC for under 500 USD, what do you think of this? If you know anything better that can fit under my budget, please tell me.

Where's the graphics card? I bet you can get more for you money than that.
The Motherboard has integrated graphics...DVI and VGA
BTW this is NOT Wiiunite talking, this is his BROTHER, who's facepunch I will not disclose at this time until I see fit.

FUCK, 4 in the morning, we will be back tomorrow, but we still need opinions, reviews, and/or advice that anyone has.
You really want to have a dedicated GPU at that budget.
This PSU is clearly overkill.
And oh god the HDD. Go instead for Samsung Spinpoint 500GB or 1 TB at 7200 RPM
Get Samsung Spinpoint F4 or how it's called

Because the entire forum clearly cares that you're this randomer's brother, right?
That CPU is also pretty low-end, and the RAM doesn't fit in the motherboard.
And you can't use DDR3 RAM on socket 775
Yeah and get a Samsung F3/F4 or whatever that is not a WDC Green
-damn, ninja-
automerge broken
-automerge broken-
Damn, we keep breaking each other's automerge

The best I can do for 500$
If you're going to get a dual core from Intel, make sure it's Core 2 Duo.
Core 2 Duo processors are too expensive for his budget, maybe Pentium Dual Core but it's not worth it.
BTW, I am the brother. I spent a little time on newegg this morning, and does this look any better/worse? Just like before, please post all opinions, reviews, and/or advice that you might have.

Best way to explode your computer

Yeah, it's not worth it to have a quad core if you don't even have a dedicated graphics card
[editline]07:53PM[/editline]
ADT has a pretty good build.
His build is also $100 over budget
And you can't use DDR3 RAM on socket 775
yes you can
yes you can
Oh, just realised that the motherboard in the OP actually supports that.
His build is also $100 over budget
What
If FINLEY means that I didn't count Seven OS in the shopping cart, it's normal because OP could buy an good graphic card instead.
[editline]08:37PM[/editline]
OP can wait when he will have the money again to buy the OS.

that's silly
that's silly
So what? You prefer that OP has no card graphic for months instead?
