I have around 120$ (Willing to save more, since i will probably have to), basically my system is this http://gdgt.com/dell/inspiron/518/specs/ with the graphics upgraded to ATI radeon 5570 1gb (pci-e 2.0) What is a good motherboard I could get that would be compatible with this system?
Why would you upgrade your motherboard? If you want to improve your PC's performance, find the bottleneck(s) and fix them instead. If you want more performance on games, you should upgrade your graphics card, 5570 is getting a bit old.

(thank dells shitty support for not knowing the actual pci-e version). Updating your mobo will do nothing for performance and is a waste of money, considering the LGA775 socket is dead.

pci-e 2.0 x1. And this one says x16. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/insp518/en/sm/techov.htm#wp1194395
I wouldn't recommend a Gigabyte mobo, often have problems with sound.
