So that's where he's been hiding.
Fucking Azrael.
I really don't care about any of Blizzards games, but whenever they make a trailer for something I have to watch it for the amazing CGI :v:
"First" expansion pack? As in there's going to be more? Fucking beautiful cinematics, but it's kind of uncomfortable how Blizzard is going for the whole "Cheesy movie epic" theme, if you understand my meaning.

I dunno, the intro was along similar lines of intro for LoD.
"Cheesy movie epic"? I dunno, the intro was along similar lines of intro for LoD.
I'm not really seeing it. Something about LoD's intro was fucking haunting as hell, whether it be camera angles, placement of music, or the simplicity of script. I was younger back then, but it instilled a pretty dark tone despite how bright the lighting was. This video here just has a tone one could easily mistake for a movie. No legitimate dark "fear" for the introduction of character, just that sense of "Hey, this looks cool enough". Maybe it's the way Tyrael is portrayed in D3, I can't put my finger on it exactly. Not saying it's a bad video by any means, but I just feel that it misses that vibe from earlier games that won me over. Of course, I'm sorry for making this the clichéd "Diablo II vs Diablo III" argument, and so I'll stop myself there.
If only the actual game looked that good
Oh man that guy's soul trying to get away.
If only the actual game looked that good
Diablo 3's problem wasn't its visuals. It was just a bad game.
If they make it so that 95% of the new items are not sellable with the Real Money Auction House, I am in. Looks like the new class is The Crusader (or a playable Kormac):
Stalwart adventurers can choose to continue their journey as one of five existing heroes—the Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, or Wizard—or adopt the mantle of a new class: the Crusader, a fierce melee warrior whose command of the battlefield is matched only by his unwavering conviction.
Malthael is pretty bad ass. It's kinda cool they went somewhere with his story. He didn't have much mention besides "he crazy as fuck".
"Lets hide it in a tomb. That always works, right guys?"
If they make it so that 95% of the new items are not sellable with the Real Money Auction House, I am in. I hope their real cash AH crashes and never gets back though.
Wait so you're telling me the basis of this expansion pack is that after diablo was defeated they were just walking around with a pretty casual and useless party, and bam someone just walks off with it? That is probably some of the worst storytelling I've seen in an RPG, and that says a lot :v: here's an idea, maybe take the person who beat diablo with you? maybe?
I feel like the hate for Diablo 3 has grown to bandwagon hate proportions. Launch was pretty shit and it was very lacking, but honestly game isn't half bad now and it looks like the 1.0.9 Item patch is going to be rolled into one massive 2.0 patch. For those of you who whined "Oh noes, we can't distribute attribute points" Well they're adding that in for the new paragon system and its account wide. So Like for my friend who has 3 Paragon level 100 classes, he'd have 300 points to distribute over Stats and other things, The closet thing the new paragon system resembles is Merit points from FFXI Online.
I mean really. Hiding things in tombs has literally backfired on Tyreal every time he's done it. And then he does it again after naming himself Wisdom.
Was i the only one who thought the guy should of said "YOoooou shall not PAAAASS! :v:

imagine a blizzard game without someone being corrupted
I am kind of interested in this just because the crusader's armor and stance looks a lot like the Warrior from D1. Visually it still has the same "one-color" filtered environments unfortunately, and while I have to wait for the plot unless they do a 180 and really put some effort into it I doubt it will be much better than vanilla D3. I'll have to wait and see, but I'm not really too interested right now.
I still wish Blizzard would just make some kind of movie using their CGI team. I don't even care if the plot is that good, just watching 2 hours of Blizzard CGI would be worth it.
well shit, if this is a saga, i hope they add a new class with each installment :v:
New class? Why, so they can increase the level cap each time and make everything we've worked so hard for up to this point entirely useless? There are already several things wrong with this expansion sadly. It won't save Diablo 3.

People cried and cried not being able to add attribute points, so they add it into the paragon system, now people cry that it will make the game too easy and be gamebreaking. Now people are crying about a level cap increase when they knew it would come in an expansion, they even said they'd do level cap increases years ago and people act like its never been done before. And to the people who cried about not being to grind away forever, well new paragon system has no cap at all. So this means you could have 100 paragon points to spend, 200, 300 or 1200. You can use these points for attribute points, offensive points, defensive, class or utility.
The game is already pretty friggin pointless. What are you doing most of the time? Grinding your ass off for that one piece of armor that rolled perfect stats. Why? No reason. You've already beaten the game so there is no point. Blizzard made a decent ARPG. Problem is, they didn't give it any replay-ability. Not to mention loot is broken all to shit and the story is...well I've read better fan fictions.

I just complain about the replay-ability. I don't know exactly what it is about Diablo 3 but when I played Diablo 2 I played it for like 2 years straight. Now I just can't be bothered.
