Would a giant window and an air purifier cleanse the odor afterwards?
Erm. First off you "hotbox" something, not "hotbox" in something. This tells me perhaps you don't know what it means. To hotbox something is to stop all airflow in and out of a smoking place - small rooms and some tents work well, and you get lots of people pretty high pretty easily... and it's fun. So why would you want to hotbox somewhere if you're too worried about what the smell would be like afterwards, hotboxing, when done properly will leave somewhere stinking for quite a while afterwards, at least it does from my experience.
If you worry about smell then don't hotbox.
You can hotbox it in your room if you light like, I dunno, 15 candles. That could get rid of the smell... eventually. The thing about hotbox-ing is, you cut off all air circulation so no air leaves or fresh air comes in. The smoke pretty much just stays there, all fabrics absorbing it, so yeah it'll leave the smell for a noticeable amount of time. I once hotboxed a few grams, and my jacket wouldn't stop smelling like it for about, a month with no washes. If you wash your clothes afterwards, it may come off. If you're worried about the smell, don't do it.
I hotboxed for a bit with my friend in car. Was a lot of fun. Just us and the music. lol.
hotbox under your covers, the fabric absorbs most of it and leave the window open so the room still gets fresh air.
Yea, or in a tent.
