The crackle makes me rage when listening to music. It's not so bad for games, but it makes my music sound terrible.
I've isolated it to one speaker.
This is how my configuration is done:

with the red satellite (specifically the speaker on top, the bottom one doesn't crackle at all) being the offending one.
As a faggot audiophile, this is quite terrible. Is there any way I can make the music play out of the rear speakers instead of the front ones?
Unplug it? Use Scissors? Get Logitech to fix it under warranty? Buy one off of eBay?
RMA it
it might actually be the amp half blown
i got a pair of labtecs where the left speaker does the same thing; driver is fine.

G51 is not an audiophile speaker set :P.
Change the speakers around with another one to see if it is the speaker or the amp.
Blown speakers generally sound like a sort of "Scraping" sound as the voice coil collides with the magnet, a blown amp tends to either not sound at all or sound lower in volume with terrible amount of distortion.
I tried a different set of speakers, it's not the amp.
My warranty expired in October, so getting it repaired under warranty isn't an option.
And G51 is a poor audiophile speaker set.
