So I was on my computer about to port forward for a minecraft server after I had my internet upgraded and apparently its password for my IP/router has been changed so I cant get in. And yes I tried multiple sites for possible answers.
So of course I say wtf to surewest(Provider) and of course they deny it.
So my question is, how the hell can I access it now?
Reset the router and try the default password which is usually written on the back of it or given to you on the manual. If not try to look up the model name (after resetting of course) and find the default password from there. Routers don't magically set their own password.
You can reset usually using a small button on the back or bottom (you might need a pen or something to push it)
