Not sure how to say this, so I'll be blunt.
I'm a really skinny fellow, simple as that. I'm not quite sure at all how to start gaining muscle/weight efficiently. It's always been this way, and it's really effecting how I see myself. Generally I'm a happy person, but I can't help but to be insecure about my body and how small and scrawny I am. What do you guys recommend to start me off? What's a rough estimate on how long until I see some good improvement? How much should I eat? I'm very new to all this and would appreciate some help. You guys are the experts!

If I forgot to include an important detail about myself, then just say the word and it shall be added to the OP.

I think I'll go to bed and check this thread out in the morning.
Post away guys. :smile:
tried reading the sticky yet?
Read the sticky.
Eat more, eat until you feel like puking and then some.
Eat more protein. Way more.
Lift heavy things. Do SS (Starting Strength) or SL (StrongLits 5x5).
Sorry guys, I guess I'll read the sticky.

Does this "Westside for Skinny Bastards" thing work very well? :v:
Obviously, it's in the sticky ain't it?
and you get no help. Find your way, only questions you're allowed to ask around here are around those lines:
* I reached a 300 squat, I think I have butt-wink, is that a bad thing?
thank you and have a good day
Eat protein every meal, and eat plenty of food. Don't neglect fruits and veggies, they're packed with vitamins and minerals that you'll need for energy.
Eat a multivitamin every morning, pretend you didn't.
Get a gym membership at a place with free weights (i.e. barbells and dumbbells)

Once you've gotten started and have some dedication, invest in protein powder and creatine. Those will help you on you way.
