I've observed and listened to numerous tracks from some French people lately.
I observed a number of similarities:
-Funk elements
-Disco elements
-Swag elements
-Awesome elements
Here are some notable examples of this:

I don't know about you, but they all sound pretty similar, and there poking at a new genre! French music!
Naw, just kidding, I think that's electronica or something.
Anyway, what I'm here to say is, does anyone know any artists that have a similar to sound to Breakbot, Daft Punk, and Justice?
French, American, whatever, I just need to hear more of this fucking music.
Now.
Everyone on Ed Banger records
Phantom's Revenge
Louis La Roche
Le Knight Club
Jean Moustache
Xinobi
That's all I can think of right now.

Just because something is French doesnt mean its a genre.
Anyways, since we're discussing French music now, France has a brilliant screamo scene.

Kitteh-nator, you really should of read the whole post.
Anyway, thanks for the music, I'm listening to every one.
This is literally the dumbest thread, and Gojira, Hacride and Dagoba kinda go to prove that the French don't solely do electronic music.
TL;DR

Lol.
I don't think it's the dumbest thread, but it could be...
Never said Frenchies only made electronic music, but they're goddamn good at it.

Nah man I've seen some pretty dumb threads and this is right there with the best/worst of em.
And all countries make good electronic music, do you wanna know why?
Cause music spans boundaries as it is a fundamentally human act to create music.
Okay, perhaps, perhaps. But I've yet to hear any other country sound like the music these three French artists make. I'd be delighted if you found some, no seriously, I'd fucking love it, I need more of this type of music. Not electronica in general, because frankly they're all dance tracks, with the same repetitive beat over and over and over, but this one has a melody and rythm and just overall funk and I need to hear more. Atleast tell me the genre, or sub-genre of electronic, this is.

Really? You haven't heard stuff like Daft Punk or Justice from other countries? Are you kidding me or do you just not look?

Two words of advice for you man:
Try Harder.
*sigh* Again, I don't like this sort of electronica, the beats go on and on forever.
The first two videos sound like things a guy would sing a rap song over.
The third is just... surreal. Though semi-decent, still not disco or funk oriented.
The fourth, I didn't even listen to. Sort of expected something from the thumbnail.
The fifth is the closest... mainly because it's a fucking Daft Punk remix.
You're not getting it man. Most of those songs don't even get close to the sounds of what seemingly only the French can get right (see main post.)
Sorry man, but I think the tables have turned.
You try harder. Bahaha.
That's fine carry on with your dumb quest for solely french electronica and completely miss the point of my posts.
Farewell.

She used to talk in a Cockney British accent, so I think not.

french music
This is hardly a new thing, the French have been making disco/funk-influenced electronic music since like the early 90s. (See: La Funk Mob, Motorbass, The Mighty Bop)
why does everyone feel the need to show how much they know about french music
