Didn't he leave months ago? And honestly, I don't think much about his condition has changed. Edit: Or was that the rehab facility? Anyway, this blog is pretty nice: http://formerf1doc.wordpress.com/
I will definitely tune in the day he decides to hop back behind the wheel.. even if it's just a joy ride.
Good luck Mr. Schumacher.
Sooooo interview?
Sooooo interview?
He's probably almost a vegetable right now, so no. I don't think many people in his situation ever leave that state.
Sooooo interview?
The article should probably say "Micheal Schumacher moved from hospital to home, as he's no longer in need of intensive care" or something along those lines - he's stable, but most likely in a vegetative state. If he was actually conscious, we would be told so with big fanfare. That's not the case. This is the depressing graph that you have to look at now:

If he is conciousness they could just be keeping quiet to keep the media away. That's a positive spin on it anyway. Also it is a depressing graph, the human brain is a crazy thing. Just the right amount of time and everything will be fine, but too long and you could end up possibly worse than dead.
I dont think he's going to drive again though :/
I thought he'd regained consciousness months ago? Sabine Kehm said in a statement that he had made "progress", but there was "a long and difficult road ahead". Schumacher suffered a head injury in a skiing accident in France in December last year and was transferred to the Swiss hospital in June. Schumacher's family said in June that he had come out of a medically induced coma to reduce swelling in his brain.
(from article) He's perfectly conscious and not in a vegetative state.
I thought he'd regained consciousness months ago? [editline]9th September 2014[/editline] (from article) He's perfectly conscious and not in a vegetative state.
Uhm, can you find me the article that sates that he is in a conscious state? And I might have mixed up persistent vegetative state and a minimally conscious state. He's in the latter supposedly. "Moments of consciousness" is not being "perfectly conscious".
The moment Sabine announced that Michael had moments of eye opening, we knew he was no longer in a coma. BY DEFINITION. Coma = no consciousness, no eye opening. Open your eyes but unconscious, it’s a vegetative state. Add fluctuating signs of interaction with the environment, it’s a minimally conscious state. So what does that mean? Sabine is a professional. At the beginning of April, she told us Michael had moments of awakening AND of consciousness. Once again, by saying this, she told us in almost clinically perfect language that Michael was no longer in a coma. She used two terms that only specialists actually distinguish; for laymen being awake and being conscious are the same thing. This language, then, clearly was used based on discussions with Michael’s care team, and reflected a highly accurate description of his minimally conscious state.
[editline]12th September 2014[/editline]
I look at it this way, he has always been a very private man and he has kept his family out of the public gaze the entire time.
