A progressive environmental political party is poised to claim the balance of power in British Columbia, home to Canada’s fastest-growing economy and the front line in battles over oil pipelines, soaring real estate prices and the economic benefits of extractive resources.
Voters on Tuesday handed three provincial legislative seats to the Green Party, in its best-ever electoral performance nationally, denying a majority to the ruling British Columbia Liberal Party or its main opponent, the left-leaning New Democratic Party.
Good Job, British Columbian Greens
The Liberals still might get a majority unfortunately, they lost it by 9 votes, so don't be surprised if a recount gives em it.
I really cannot fathom how Christie Clark even has a chance of staying in power after 5 years of severe fuck ups.

There are still absentee ballots to count and several ridings are within the margin for an automatic recount. It could still change

mumblemumble the 90's.
It's not gonna be official for anything until the end of the month. Some of these vote margins are fucking single digit. I've never seen that.
