I need to vote, I really like Chainsaw Massacar and I hate Headshot.
Headshot was a load of bollocks.
I mean the whole killing zombies by destroying the brain is a good concept but when you have guns and shit it's fucking retarded.

I don't own L4D2, But my friend does, I played headshot and last man on earth, and last man on earth was better.
Can't we just add a permanent mutation mode? Where you and your friends can add pr unadd other mutations? Like headshots only last man on earth? I don't see why when one week passes the mutation needs to go away forever.

Too little people will play a certain game mode, making it hard to have matches at all.

That's probably their end goal when they finish out this round robin type of thing. They have something like 20 different mutations planned total. There was a list back when they first started.
Last man on earth was cool, and there's no problem with too little people playing it, why don't they add that permanently?
They should add all the game modes permanently after the 20 mutations are over.
So, that I wouldn't have to wait MONTHS to play a gamemode that I like.

I can understand that the 360 community didn't vote for headshot, since imo aiming with a controller is fucking impossible, especially for the head.

The hordes don't really last long and it was just a general "Mow down 20 zombies here and there, that's it".
It was really, really boring on standard mode. If Valve had made Hordes slightly bigger and more common for Chainsaw Massacre, and maybe one or two Special Infected removed then it would have made it more fun. Add more damage dealt to survivors, bigger and more common hordes, and bam, a good mutation.
Overall I give it a 6/10, the 4 was lack of zombies.

Played it with a friend for maybe 10 mins before we got bored.
Shit was way too easy.
I hope after they cycle through all the mutations, Valve makes this somewhat Unreal Tournament-like in that a server has a checklist of mutations to use for the game. (i.e. instead of having Campaign, Realism, Vs. and Realism Vs., it could be simplified to Campaign and Vs. with a 'Realism Mode' checkbox available). Obviously some mutations would be mutually explusive (Swordsman and Chainsaw Massacre) while others would more or less need to be played on their own (Last Man on Earth).

Don't start a flame war just because 13% more people agreed with your opinion on a sucky gamemode which consists of playing a regular campaign with zombies that decide to die only half the time they get shot in the head.
