mpala, Uganda (CNN) -- A fugitive Rwandan clergyman wanted for his role in the 1994 genocide has been arrested in Uganda, a police spokesman told CNN Friday.
A 2001 indictment from the U.N.-backed International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda alleges that Jean-Bosco Uwinkindi, now 59, led a group that sought out and killed Tutsis in the genocide. Some 800,000 Rwandans were slaughtered in 100 days, many of them brutally bludgeoned or sliced open with machetes.
The indictment says that about 2,000 bodies were found near Uwinkindi's church after he fled the country in July 1994.
Ugandan police spokeswoman Judith Nabakooba said Uwinkindi is being extradited to Arusha, Tanzania, where the tribunal is located.
Uwinkindi, a Pentecostal pastor with a $5 million reward on his head, was among 11 top genocide suspects at large and was picked up by Ugandan police in the town of Mbarara, Nabakooba said. He had crossed the border into Uganda from neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo, where other genocide suspects are thought to be in hiding.
Uganda's independent Daily Monitor newspaper reported Friday that Uwinkindi entered the country using the alias Jean Inshitu and was attempting to buy land and settle under that assumed name.
justice be done.
$5 million bounty, that's insane. And it's good that he was caught, genocide is, you know, not a good thing.
Great.

Bobste is referring to the genocide suspect and you're here being a dumb troll, trying to derail a thread. On top of that, you're trying to derail the thread using my username. If I were related to you, I would be ashamed right now.
One of my relatives was killed in the Rwandan genocide.
did he happen to fall out of his guard tower?
Please learn when to use that line and when not too. Primarily because I don't think there were prison camps.
Didn't the guy who led the original coup die of aids or something?

Don't worry, you'd have plenty of boxes to hide your face with. :smugdog:

P.S. he was a white guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fun fact: he coached the Camaroon football team at one point.

Are you referring to these internet forum ratings and being smug about it? Hint: They're not real boxes, they're a bunch of 1's and 0's.
Nice comeback. Or maybe it's not and it's just some dumb General Discussion in-joke.

thank you perf i cannot believe these trolls are unbanned
did he happen to fall out of his guard tower?
That doesn't work here.
The genocide consisted of village to village, street to street, house to house, room to room extermination, rape and torture over the time of several weeks.
There were no prisons, guard towers, just indiscriminate killing. (Well, it became indiscriminate)
