'Don't call my brother a paedophile. She was 15, not 11,' says Jeremy Forrest's sister Jeremy Forrest is not a paedophile and still wants a relationship with the schoolgirl he abducted because he 'genuinely loves her', his older sister said today. Daybreak and the Daily Mail, it's like a perfect storm of sleazy reporting
wow, I wonder if his sister is only protecting him because he's her brother or if he's a part of some fucked up family where they both got indoctrinated by their parents/parent (sexually)
wow, I wonder if his sister is only protecting him because he's her brother or if he's a part of some fucked up family where they both got indoctrinated by their parents/parent (sexually)
Or maybe that's just her opinion of the whole situation? Nah you're right clearly everyone in their families just got molested.
TBH I agree. Hell her father has even said he would walk her up the aisle if they were to get married.
for reference, she's now 16 for reference, this is an affair with his (now probably ex) wife
"abducted" i wish everyone would stop calling this an abduction
Fair is fair, if she was 15 at the time, he's not a pedophile. And kudos to her for standing by him in such a troubling situation. Having said that, dating someone who's half your age is still creepy.
I don't even know what's going on, can someone fill me in?
He's not a Paedophile but he is an Ephebophile
I don't even know what's going on, can someone fill me in?
some girl fell in love with this chap ,but then they were going to get exposed so they moved to france but were caught thats the adhd ver
I don't even know what's going on, can someone fill me in?
Teacher (30) has an affair with 15 year old student, then takes her to France. Parents report her missing, police arrest him in France. Police jail him for abduction and 5 counts of sex with a child. They claim they're in love and she admitted she consented to everything, judge said it made no difference whether she did or didn't.

I don't really care what happens with the asshole but I feel bad for his wife.
18 is such an arbitrary age but I can understand it to an extent.
Asked if they will marry she said: 'If they’ve managed to survive all of this and if he stays in there (prison) all that time – she’ll be 21, he’ll be 35, there are age gaps like that.
Locking this guy up sure was useful.
Everyone involved pretty much agrees that there's nothing wrong going on here?
Everyone involved pretty much agrees that there's nothing wrong going on here?
Not his wife, I bet.
18 is such an arbitrary age but I can understand it to an extent.
It's 16 in the UK.
He's not a Paedophile but he is an Ephebophile
I feel as though this is the most normal philia ever
The age of consent law is funny, give it a year or less and she'll be perfectly legal and he wouldn't be a paedophile.
The sad thing is they had to do him on abduction because the AOC is 15 in France, so they wouldn't have sent him back just for that.
It's 16 in the UK.
Thats even worse in this case. A 1 year difference ffs.
The guy cheated on his wife and used his position as an authority figure at the school to prey on an underage girl. The fact that the girl got sexually involved with a married teacher proves she's immature and her judgment can't be trusted. So what she wants is irrelevant. Once she's legal, she can do what she wants. The fact that he didn't separate from his wife first, and did everything as sneaky as possible, proves he was well aware that it was wrong and a serious crime. This is why the only defense the sister has is "he likes sex with teens, not kids".
The age of consent law is funny, give it a year or less and she'll be perfectly legal and he wouldn't be a paedophile.
He isn't a pedophile, it's a medical/psychological not a legal term. If the definition of pedophilia was based on local law someone who was sexually attracted to a 9 year old in Yemen wouldn't be a pedophilia but someone who was attracted to a 20 year old in Tunisia would be.
-snip- nvm, just realized this guy was a teacher of the girl...that's a little messed up.
It's 16 in the UK.
It's 18 for persons in a position of trust (teachers, police officers, nurses, etc) although I'm not sure if it's an arrestable offense or a sackable offense
It's 18 for persons in a position of trust (teachers, police officers, nurses, etc) although I'm not sure if it's an arrestable offense or a sackable offense
I've no clue on arrestable vs sackable but it does tend to weigh rather heavily when it comes to convictions.
It's 18 for persons in a position of trust (teachers, police officers, nurses, etc) although I'm not sure if it's an arrestable offense or a sackable offense
It's certainly not a criminal offense, not sure about civil.
It is a criminal offence:
The abuse of a position of trust is a criminal offence under the Sexual Offences Act 2003. The act says that a person over the age of 18 who is in a position of trust over a person under the age of 18 commits a criminal offence if they involve the younger person in sexual activity.
The age of consent law is funny, give it a year or less and she'll be perfectly legal and he wouldn't be a paedophile.
So we should move the age of consent to 15?
