• Shutdown/Restart issue with Windows 7

I got my new parts and I was able to install Windows 7 after messing with it the whole day. (Needed a USB keyboard instead of PS2 one and the monitor would go to power saving mode when I had to restart on the install) Now I can't shut down my PC properly. Since if I shut it down, I hear that some fans stop working yet the PSU keeps on going and the screen is black. If I would restart my PC my monitor, mouse and keyboard would not power up and I have to shut it down and wait a minute untill I can launch it again and it works then. My PC Processor - Intel i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz Memory - PC3-12800 Crucial 8GB DDR3 Hard Drive 1 - Samsung HD320KJ (320GB) Hard Drive 2 - WD Blue 640GB Video Card - Sapphire HD 6850 1GB Monitor - LG Flatron W2353v Mouse - Logitech G500 Operating System - Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Motherboard - Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 PSU - Corsair 500W CXv2 PSU Case - Cooler Master 690 Advanced II
Sounds like an RMA-worthy mobo.
